A press release from Joshua Bilmes at the JABberwocky Literary Agency:
We wanted to let all of you know that we’ve added once again to the JABberwocky staff, with two new part-time assistants.
Sam Morgan is usually in the office on Mondays and Wednesday. A native of Shelby, North Carolina and a graduate of the University of North Carolina, he’s splitting his week between us and the Upright Citizens Brigade improv theatre, where he works at their training center while pursuing his interests in TV, film and other media.
Lisa Rodgers is usually in the office on Thursday and Fridays. She grew up in the San Francisco Bay area, graduated from CSU Sacramento and the NYU Summer Publishing Institute, and has extensive experience in publishing working for the San Francisco and Sacramento Book Reviews and splits her time between our office and an internship at the Levine Greenberg Literary Agency.
Sam and Lisa are most likely to pick up the phone on the days when they are here, and they are sharing a new e-mail address of jabberwocky [at] awfulagent [dot] com which you can use for routine inquiries on domestic rights. Foreign rights inquiries should continue to go to Brady McReynolds, brady [at] awfulagent [dot] com, and Eddie, Jessie and I are all available for things requiring our personal touch.
Between Brady and Sam, we sure do have a lot of people rooting for the Tarheels in college basketball!
We’re hugely excited to have Sam and Lisa as part of the JABberwocky team.
