The Odd Life of Timothy Green held steady at #9, growing $3.3 million, for a five-week total of $47.1 million.
The Dark Knight Rises slipped from #10 to #12, raising $3.0 million, for a nine-week total of $441.9 million. The new Richard Gere-Susan Sarandon thriller Arbitrage opened at #13. Military drama Last Ounce of Courage opened at #15. Indian comedy/musical Barfi! opened at #17. The L. Ron Hubbard-inspired The Master opened at #19, clearing $1.0 million. The Avengers slipped from #17 to #20, teaming up $800 thousand, for a twenty-week total of $622.4 million. Ice Age: Continental Drift slipped from #18 to #21, melting $700 thousand, for a ten-week total of $158.0 million. Indiana Jones and The Raiders of the Lost Ark: The IMAX Experience fell from #13 to #23, swashbuckling up $550 thousand, for a two-week total of $3.0 million. Ted slipped from #21 to #24, bearing up $550 thousand, for a twelve-week total of $217.6 million.
