JABberwocky welcomes Brady McReynolds as foreign rights manager

JABberwocky Literary Agency announced today that Brady McReynolds has joined the agency to head its growing foreign rights department.
JABberwocky Literary Agency clients include Charlaine Harris, who has had a record 9 books simultaneously on the NY Times bestseller list, along with NY Times bestselling authors Brandon Sanderson, Jack Campbell, Simon Green, Tobias Buckell, Elizabeth Moon and Peter Brett. Each year it places books into over 20 foreign languages, with Charlaine Harris sold in 35 languages, Brandon Sanderson in 25, Peter Brett in 20, and many authors in 15 languages or more. Founded by its President, Joshua Bilmes, in 1994, JABberwocky has become the world’s leading literary agency for science fiction and fantasy, and is now developing a powerful new list in YA and middle grade fiction, including the major new Steelheart series by Brandon Sanderson which was also announced today by Delacorte Press.
Brady McReynolds was most recently in the publicity department at Penguin USA. He came to the attention of JABberwocky with his strong efforts on behalf of the agency’s clients. Of special note, he helped achieve record launch week sales levels for the NY Times bestselling “Lost Fleet” series by Jack Campbell, while also spearheading the campaign for debut author Myke Cole, whose Shadow Ops: Control Point was immediately hailed as one of the debuts of 2012 upon its February release.
