Destinies to feature blockbuster new movies for the next month

29 June: Preparing for the release of The Amazing Spider-Man with “The Scorpion’s Tale of Woe,” adapted from the story in Amazing Spider-Man #319, on the Destinies Radio Theater. Christopher DeFilippis discusses his passion for old-time radio and radios in volume 2, number 126 of “DeFlip Side.” Selections from “Dark Shadows: The 30th Anniversary Collection” in memory of actor Jonathan Frid.
6 July: Destinies is pre-empted by WUSB’s semi-annual Reggae Marathon.
13 July: The Destinies Film Review Team assembles live to discuss The Amazing Spider-Man.
20 July: Saluting the release of The Dark Knight Rises with an adventure of Batman on the Destinies Radio Theater. Christopher DeFilippis describes his trip through the Bermuda Triangle in volume 2, number 127 of “DeFlip Side.” Music by Murray Gold from the Doctor Who story “The Impossible Astronaut/Day of the Moon.”
