Band of Misfits opened at #5, swashbuckling up $13.2 million. Action flick Safe opened at #6. Edgar Allan Poe movie The Raven opened at #7, screaming up $9.5 million. The Cabin in the Woods slipped from #6 to #9, earning $6.3 million, for a three-week total of $36.5 million.
Mirror Mirror slipped from #10 to #13, magicking up $2.8 million, for a five-week total of $59.4 million. Wrath of the Titans slipped from #11 to #14, adventuring up $2.6 million, for a five-week total of $81.2 million. Lockout slipped from #12 to #16, locking up $1.3 million, for a three-week total of $13.7 million. The Lorax slipped from #13 to #17, greening up $1.0 million, for a nine-week total of $208.6 million. Journey 2: The Mysterious Island slipped from #16 to #18, actioning up $600 thousand, for a twelve-week total of $102.0 million.
