MTV Books/Gallery Books to publish On Fire, based on Teen Wolf series

A press release from Stephanie DeLuca of Simon and Schuster:
MTV Books and Gallery Books are partnering to publish On Fire, an original novel based on MTV’s hit series Teen Wolf. The novel, written by the New York Times bestselling author Nancy Holder, will be published on June 5, 2012. The series will return for a second season this summer on MTV.
On Fire takes fans deeper into the lives of their favorite characters from the series and reveals some of the dark secrets that complicate their lives and relationships, including new details in the development of Scott and Allison’s romance, family histories for Stiles and Jackson, and Derek’s troubled past.
On Fire gives a glimpse into mysteries that will set up new episodes of Teen Wolf, while giving fans a unique insight into the minds and feelings of the characters as only a novel can do,” said Jeff Davis, executive producer of the Teen Wolf series on MTV.
MTV’s Teen Wolf is a sexy, suspenseful drama about transformation set against the backdrop of contemporary teen life, with a forbidden, romantic love story at its core, making it a fresh and different take on the iconic movie. Teen Wolf stars Tyler Posey as Scott McCall, Crystal Reed as Allison Argent, Dylan O’Brien as Stiles, Tyler Hoechlin as Derek Hale, Holland Roden as Lydia Martin, and Colton Haynes as Jackson Whittemore.
