16 April, 7PM PDT: SFWA’s Pacific Northwest Reading Series at McMenamins Kennedy School (5736 NE 33rd Ave, Portland, OR 97211; web site) has Lillith Saintcrow hosting and reading with Ted Kosmatka and Shanna Germain.
17 April, 7PM PDT: SFWA’s Pacific Northwest Reading Series at Wild Rover Restaurant and Pub (111 Central Way, Kirkland, WA 98033; web site) has Kat Richardson hosting, and reading with Ted Kosmatka and Shanna Germain.
18 April, 7PM EDT: KGB Fantastic Fiction Series, presented by Ellen Datlow and Matthew Kressel (KGB Bar, 85 East 4th St, New York, NY; www.kgbfantasticfiction.org) hosts readings by Caitlin R. Kiernan and Scott Lynch. Note: Due to illness, Caitlin R. Kiernan has had to cancel at the last minute. Instead, Elizabeth Bear will be sharing the podium with Scott Lynch.
23 April, 7PM EDT: St Mark’s Bookshop (31 Third Ave, New York, NY 10003) hosts Samuel R. Delany reading and signing Through the Valley of the Nest of Spiders.
27 April, 7PM EDT: The Philadelphia Fantastic Authors and Editors Series (at The Moonstone Arts Center, 110 A S. 13th Street, Philadelphia, PA) is hosting its fourth Friday of the month monthly reading followed, as always, by a pay-as-you-go dinner. This month will feature Victoria Janssen.

14 June, 7PM EDT: Word (126 Franklin St, Brooklyn, NY 11222) hosts John Scalzi read from his new novel, Redshirts. Or he might not read from Redshirts at all, in favor of something different but just as fun, possibly with a special guest. If you bring your ukelele, he may even sing Jonathan Coulton’s new song, coincidentally titled “Redshirt.” He’ll also sign things for you if you ask nicely.
