The British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) has announced the winners of its 2012 Orange British Academy Film Awards. We detailed the nominees in this article. BAFTA’s mission is to “support, develop, and promote the art forms of the moving image, by identifying and rewarding excellence, inspiring practitioners and benefiting the public.”
Awards in four of the eleven categories with sf/f/h nominees went to those genre films (last year it was seven of fifteen). This year’s winners are:
