Puss In Boots held onto the top of the charts, swashbuckling up $40.8 million (96% of what it took in last week), for a two-week total of $83.3 million. Comedies Tower Heist and A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas opened at #2 and #3, respectively. Paranormal Activity 3 slipped from #2 to #4, scaring up $10.4 million, for a three-week total of $97.2 million. In Time slipped from #3 to #5, saving $10.0 million, for a two-week total of $26.5 million. Real Steel slipped from #6 to #7, fighting up $4.4 million, for a five-week total of $79.7 million.
Ra. One fell from #14 to #21, creating $500 thousand, for a two-week total of $2.3 million. The Thing fell from #16 to #25, assuming $300 thousand, for a four-week total of $16.8 million.
