Graham Edwards’ Cinefex reviews catch the attention of Cinefex

A press release from Graham Edwards:
As part of his ongoing mission to boldly review the first fifty issues of the legendary visual effects journal Cinefex, author Graham Edwards has now collected the first ten reviews together on his website.
Graham has this to say about the challenge of revisiting Cinefex: “I’m hoping that, as I go along, I’ll form a picture of how visual effects developed through the 1980s: that amazing decade during which the summer blockbuster was born and effects movies took over the top ten charts.”
Right from the start, Graham’s reviews attracted the attention of the Cinefex team. Publisher Don Shay comments: “We love Graham Edwards’ ‘Revisiting Cinefex‘ blogs for the manner in which he applies an insightful eye to both the issues we published and the films covered in them. If Cinefex is the Encyclopedia Britannica of visual effects, then Graham’s blogs are the Reader’s Digest condensed versions.”
You can browse the first ten reviews, covering such classic movies as Alien, The Empire Strikes Back and Blade Runner, on Graham’s website. Number eleven is all about E.T.: The Extra Terrestrial, and is coming soon. You can subscribe to Cinefex (print and/or digital editions available) at their official website.
