Cars 2 slipped from #4 to #5, revving up $13.7 million, for a four-week total of $170.7 million. Disney’s new Winnie the Pooh opened at #6, finding $12.4 million in its first week. Super 8 slipped from #7 to #9, making $3.2 million, for a six-week total of $123.5 million.
Green Lantern fell from #10 to #14, shining up $2.1 million, for a five-week total of $113.5 million. X-Men: First Class slipped from #13 to #16, earning $1.0 million, for a seven-week total of $143.9 million. Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, slipped from #15 to #18, seeking out $850 thousand, for a nine-week total of $237.7 million. Kung Fu Panda 2 slipped from #16 to #19, kicking up $850 thousand, for an eight-week total of $160.5 million.
