Publisher Prime Books and ebookstore Weightless Books are joining up to offer goodies as part of their Lightspeed Magazine and Fantasy Magazine subscription drive running from 1 June to 13 July. Both magazines are edited by John Joseph Adams.
New subscribers to both magazines will receive copies of anthologies edited by Adams. Lightspeed subscribers will get copies of Federations (featuring Lois McMaster Bujold, Orson Scott Card, George R.R. Martin, Robert Silverberg and more), while Fantasy subscribers will receive The Way of the Wizard (featuring Neil Gaiman, Ursula K. Le Guin, George R. R. Martin, Robert Silverberg, Kelly Link, and more). Subscribers to both magazines get copies of both books.
Following the 13 July end of the subscription drive, all new subscribers will be entered to win ten prizes, including T-shirts from Kobo, Small Beer Press, and Weightless Books, and a selection of paper and ebooks from Prime and Small Beer.
And if they manage to sell 500 new subscriptions by that second weekend in July, publisher Sean Wallace “will donate a free Nook Simple Touch Reader and a $50 gift card (either to Weightless or bn.com) for a randomly picked subscriber.”
