Award Administrator Gordon Van Gelder announces the winner of this year’s Philip K. Dick Award: The Strange Affair of Spring Heeled Jack by Mark Hodder (published by Pyr). In addition, a special citation was given to Harmony by Project Itoh, translated by Alexander O. Smith (Haikasoru).
The award, for best original paperback published in the US in 2010, is sponsored by the Philadelphia Science Fiction Society and awarded at Norwescon. Our January article listed all the nominees and more information on the award.
The judges were William Barton, Andy Duncan, Bruce McAllister, Melinda Snodgrass, and David Walton.
