Animated Shakespeare-gnome mash-up Gnomeo & Juliet opened at #3, romancing up $31.0 million. Drama The Eagle opened at #4. The Green Hornet fell from #5 to #10, battling up $4.9 million, for a five-week total of $93.7 million.
The Rite fell from #6 to #12, scaring up $4.7 million, for a three-week total of $30.3 million. Black Swan slipped from #9 to #13, swooping up $3.0 million, for an eleven-week total of $100.2 million. Tangled slipped from #13 to #16, spinning up $1.1 million, for a twelve-week total of $193.6 million. Yogi Bear fell from #12 to #17, snatching up $975 thousand, for a nine-week total of $96.8 million. Tron: Legacy fell from #15 to #21, earning $800 thousand, for a nine-week total of $170.0 million. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part I climbed from #24 to #23, taking in $650 thousand (nearly 40% more than last week), for a thirteen-week total of $293.5 million.
