Analog changes submission process

Exclusive to SFScope: a major announcement from Analog Science Fiction and Fact Editor Stanley Schmidt:
Effective at 11AM Eastern Standard Time on Tuesday, February 22, Analog Science Fiction and Fact will begin accepting—and preferring—submissions in electronic form. Electronic submissions will be accepted through http://analog.magazinesubmissions.com, where full instructions can be found.
Please note that while we will be welcoming electronic submissions, they must be made through the designated website, and not as attachments to regular e-mail. Do not try to use the website before the announced opening time; submissions attempted before then won’t go anywhere.
If you have a print copy of your story currently under consideration, please do not resubmit the story electronically. I will respond to those stories via the traditional SASE.”

I’m always amazed at how literary science fiction magazines, conventions, clubs, etc, those who look to the future the most, are among the last to adopt “new” technology. Welcome to the 90s, Analog!
