Penguin, Amazon.com, and CreateSpace are now accepting submissions for their fourth annual Amazon Breakthrough Novel Award (ABNA) competition. Deadline is midnight EST 6 February, or when they’ve received 10,000 submissions (whichever comes first). They’re looking for “the next popular novel. Grand prize awards are given in two categories: general fiction and best young adult novel. The 2011 competition is open to authors of original novels that have not yet been published or that have been previously self-published. The two ABNA winners will each receive a publishing contract with Penguin Group (USA) and a $15,000 advance.”
