Angry Robot to open the floodgates for one month

The staff at Angry Robot Books has decided they have entirely too much time on their hands. To resolve that problem, Editor Lee Harris has decided to open things up to unagented submissions for the month of March 2011. And they’re spreading the word now, to give authors time to get their submissions into proper shape.
That month will be “Open Door Month”, and to run it properly, they’ve “put together a dedicated team of readers, who will diligently work through every submission received. The best of these will be considered for publication by the Angry Robot editorial team.”
Harris explains, “We’re delighted to be able to offer this opportunity to unpublished and unrepresented novelists. There are a lot of exciting authors out there, just waiting to be discovered, and we’d like to be able to help them kick-start their careers.”
They want science fiction, fantasy, and horror novels (not novellas, not short stories). Full details are on this submissions page.
