The section on the 1957 Worldcon has now been added to my site and can be found here.
This has been done in the same fashion as the well-received CORONCON project, but this time with even more photos. Pete Weston and I have gotten much better over time at identifying faces so there aren’t too many people identified only as “unknown”. As always, of course, positive identification of unkowns is always welcome.
This was considerably more work than it looks, so it will probably be a while before I give another con the same treatment. In the meantime, enjoy!
He’s not kidding. There are a lot of remarkable photos of people whose names we should all recognize. But these people are half a century younger than we’ve seen them in quite a while. And the in-depth write-up is also wonderful.
