Future-oriented website/blog Futurismic, which had been paying $200 for one story per month, is no longer doing so. Publisher Paul Raven announces the decision, and the financial reasoning behind it, in this post.
Futurismic is “a website for people interested in the future and the effects of science and technology on the present.” The site has a blog, columns, and fiction. In the past, they’ve published fiction by CC Finlay, Bruce Sterling, Lavie Tidhar, and Genevieve Valentine.
