Not strictly speculative fiction, but Leah Hultenschmidt has been named senior editor at Sourcebooks‘ romance imprint, Casablanca. The hire raises our interest because for the last ten years, up to a matter of days ago, Hultenschmidt had been the editorial director at Dorchester Publishing (she and senior editor Don D’Auria were let go in a massive restructuring; see this article).
Sourcebooks launched Casablanca in 2007. The imprint publishes five to eight mass market titles per month. Hultenschmidt will be acquiring mass market and YA titles, and based in Sourcebooks’ New York office.
