After going on hiatus in January, Orson Scott Card’s Intergalactic Medicine Show returns with issue #17, dated June 2010.
As explained in Editor Edmund R. Schubert’s introductory letter, the hiatus was necessitated by several personal difficulties, but it also provided an opportunity to relaunch the online zine. Part of that relaunch brings a redesigned layout/web site, and part of it is a new subscription model. Previously, readers could only purchase individual issues. Now, however, they’re set up to sell annual subscriptions for $15, and these new subscriptions will include total access to all the back issues. For full details, see Schubert’s letter.
