Why Did I Get Married Too and The Last Song opened at #3 and #4, respectively. Alice in Wonderland, therefore, slipped from #2 to #5, conjuring up $12.2 million, for a five-week total of $313.7 million. Hot Tub Time Machine slipped from #3 to #6, bubbling up with $11.7 million, for a two-week total of $31.5 million. Shutter Island slipped from #9 to #10, taking in $2.2 million, for a seven-week total of $124.1 million.
Avatar slipped from #12 to #13, grabbing $1.5 million, for a sixteen-week total of $742.8 million. Repo Men fell from #10 to #16, repossessing $900 thousand, for a three-week total of $13.5 million. Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief slipped from #20 to #21, making $500 thousand, for an eight-week total of $86.9 million. After falling out of the top 25 last week, Tooth Fairy popped back up to #25, pulling out another $350 thousand, for an eleven-week total of $58.7 million.
