2009 Philip K. Dick Award Winner

Award Administrator Gordon Van Gelder announces the winner of this year’s Philip K. Dick Award: Bitter Angels by C.L. Anderson (published by Ballantine Books Spectra). In additional a special citation was given to Cyberabad Days by Ian McDonald (Pyr).
The award, for best original paperback published in the US in 2009, is sponsored by the Philadelphia Science Fiction Society and awarded at Norwescon. Our January article listed all the nominees and more information on the award.
The judges were Daniel Abraham, Eileen Gunn, Karen Hellekson, Elaine Isaak, and Marc Laidlaw.
