Spectrum 17 Art Award Winners

The jury for the 17th annual Spectrum art competition has announced this year’s winners in a variety of categories. The winners (a Gold Award and Silver Award in each category) receive a sculpted award, and all the works selected by the judges will appear in Spectrum 17: The Best in Contemporary Fantastic Art, which will be published by Underwood Books in October.

The jury were Bill Carman (artist/educator at Boise State University), Kerry Callen (artist for Hallmark Cards), John Fleskes (publisher of Flesk Publications), Rebecca Guay (artist/founder of Illustration Master Class), and Iain McCaig (artist/film designer). The series editors are Cathy and Arnie Fenner.
