Clark Ashton Smith’s weird poetry coming back into print

Agent Joshua Bilmes has sold republication and translation rights for the Clark Ashton Smith estate. Smith (1893-1961) was most active as a writer in the 1920s and 1930s, and best known for his “weird” and horror fiction (he maintained a literary friendship with H.P. Lovecraft from 1922 until Lovecraft’s death in 1937).
Oeil du Sphinx will be issuing a volume of Smith’s poetry in French translation.
PS Publishing will bring out a volume of Smith’s Weird Tales poetry (this deal was handled by UK agent John Berlyne at Zeno).
Hippocampus will reissue in paperback its complete Smith poetry volume.
