Award administrators David G. Hartwell and Gordon Van Gelder have announced the five judges for the 2010 Philip K. Dick Award. The award is “for distinguished science fiction published in paperback original format in the US in 2010.”
Publishers who issue eligible titles during the calendar year 2010 are “encouraged to provide copies to each of the judges as the books are published during the year. (All works of science fiction published originally in the US as paperbacks during the year 2010 are eligible.) The nominees will be announced in January 2011.”
The judges are:

The Philip K. Dick Award is sponsored by the Philadelphia Science Fiction Society and the Northwest Science Fiction Society’s Norwescon. The 2008 winners were Emissaries of the Dead by Adam-Troy Castro and Terminal Mind by David Walton. The 2009 awards will be announced at Norwescon 33 on 2 April.
