2010 Audie Awards nominees

The Audio Publishers Association has announced the nominees for their 15th annual Audies awards, “devoted entirely to honoring spoken word entertainment.” The winners will be announced 25 May 2010 at the Audies Gala at the Museum of the City of New York.     I’m curious as to why you listed only a partial list of nominees and, for instance, did not include Original Works (where our cd Tell Me a Story 3: Women of Wonder garnered a nomination).

    Thanks for asking, Amy. The reason we didn’t include the category with your nomination (for which, by the way, congratulations), was that we were focusing only on those categories with speculative fiction nominees, and none of the titles in the “Original Works” category struck me as science fiction, fantasy, or horror. That’s why, instead, I provided a link to the full list of nominees, should my readers be interested in the others.
