World Literature Today’s special science fiction issue

Chris McKitterick has issued a call for papers and creative work for the upcoming (May 2010) special science fiction issue of World Literature Today. He writes “Science fiction scholars, do you have a great article about SF from around the world? Non-US authors, do you have a fantastic SF story or poem you’d like to share?”
He’s looking for “2-3 great stories and a few poems, preferable from diverse sources, and reviews of world SF in literature and film.” He offers the following topics to consider:
* Non-US, Anglo SF (from England, Australia, and so forth)
* Asian SF
* Non-Anglo European SF
* Russian and Central Asian SF
* Central and South American SF
Preferred length is 1,000-2,000 words. Payment is $200-$300 for short stories and essays, $100 per poem, on acceptance. Deadline is 25 January 2010. Full details on this page.
