Actor Dennis Cole died 15 November 2009 of causes not yet determined. Born 19 July 1940 in Detroit, Michigan, he moved to Hollywood in the early 1960s and found work as a model and stuntman. He big acting break came when he was cast as one of the leads in Felony Squad (1966-69).
His genre appearances include: Death House (1987), Wheels of Fire (1985), Automan (1984), and nine episodes of Fantasy Island (1978-84). He appeared in many sitcoms, and then moved away from acting in the late 1990s. Then he moved to Florida, became a real estate broker, and performed musical acts on cruise ships.
Cole was married and divorced three times (his second wife was actress Jaclyn Smith). His one son was murdered in 1991. He is survived by his brother, Richard.
