Author Rachel Caine is running a couple of give-aways, with some great prizes, including an Eee PC, a Kindle, and a stack of books.
The second contest, with an entry deadline of 10 November, is in honor of the release of Fade Out, the seventh Morganville Vampires novel (which is being released on 3 November). Caine writes “Help make it a success by pre-ordering your copies, or by buying in the first week of release. Proof of purchase is not necessary to enter the contest, though!” The grand prize for this contest is “a new Eee PC, preloaded with cool Morganville content, plus a signed copy of Fade Out, a Morganville Vampires audiobook, and a copy of the new 2-in-1 edition of Glass Houses and The Dead Girls’ Dance.” The runners-up prize include books and more.
The first contest celebrates publisher NAL’s full-page ad for the Morganville Vampires series in the 16 October issue of People Magazine, “because Rachel’s pretty darn excited about that.” The prize for this contest (entry deadline is 30 November) is “a latest generation U.S. & International Wireless Kindle.”
