Authors Sharon Lee and Steve Miller send an update on their web-serialized novel Fledgling. Specifically, they write “those who donated $25 or more toward the Fledgling online project and are therefore eligible to receive a thank-you book from the authors should have received an email from Scott Raun, long-time list-master for the Liaden Universe News and the Friends of Liad mailing lists. Scott is verifying the addresses in the subscriber database, so that we can be as certain as possible that everyone who should get a book, will.

The author’s are planning to have all the promised books signed and shipped by the first week in October, as soon as they receive copies from print publisher Baen Books.
In other news, the first two of their four planned auctions of manuscript material, for Agent of Change and Conflict of Honors, were concluded in July. The next, for Carpe Diem, is planned to go live on eBay this week.
