Auction for Lee and Miller’s Carpe Diem manuscript now open

Writing team Sharon Lee and Steve Miller‘s third Liaden Universe manuscript auction (see this article) is now up and running. This auction, for material related to Carpe Diem, is at this link on eBay. The auction opened less than two hours ago, and three bidders have already got the bidding up to $91 (from the minimum opening of $50). The auction is scheduled to end at 1:36PM PDT on 25 August 2009.

* a manuscript of Carpe Diem, 409 double-spaced pages, some marked up
* submission letter from Lee and Miller to Shelly Shapiro at Del Rey Books, dated September 19, 1988
* submission manuscript of Carpe Diem, 403 double-spaced pages
