Frederic S. Durbin sold The Star Shard to Kate O’Sullivan at Houghton Mifflin via agent Eddie Schneider at JABberwocky. The book is an expansion of a novella that was recently serialized in Cricket Magazine.
Durbin’s first novel, Dragonfly, was published by Arkham House in 1999 and reissued by Ace in 2005. It was a finalist for the International Horror Guild Award.
