George Mann sells six books to Snowbridge, and two to Pyr

George Mann sold six books to independent British publisher Snowbooks. The deal is for books four, five, and six of the Newbury and Hobbes series; the first two books in a new series to be called The Ghosts of Manhattan; and a collection of short stories called The Huntingdon Legacy.
Snowbooks published The Affinity Bridge, which was the first book in the Newbury and Hobbes steampunk series. Book two, The Osiris Ritual, will be out in limited edition hardcover in July and paperback in September.
Snowbooks Managing Director Emma Barnes said “We are thrilled to have the opportunity to be Mann’s publisher for the next three in the Newbury and Hobbes steampunk series, as well as the exciting development of The Ghosts of Manhattan.” She added “Osiris is shaping up to be even more successful than The Affinity Bridge.”
Pyr Editorial Director Lou Anders, who pointed out the story to us, adds that “The Ghosts of Manhattan and its untitled sequel will be published by Pyr starting in 2010.”
