Following up on this article about the stories stuck in the submissions process or inventory when Realms of Fantasy announced it was going out of business, Assistant Editor Douglas Cohen has posted this long commentary on the situation, which can be boiled down to: “Please don’t do anything with your stories in the submission chain for a month, and if we’ve already gone to contract, please wait a month to hear from us.”
These comments dovetail with the rumors that owner Sovereign Media may be trying to sell the magazine, rather than simply shut it down.
