Film producer Robert Evans sold The Fat Lady Sang: The Kid Stays in the Picture II to Michael Viner at Phoenix Books, which plans to publish in both print and audio at the end of the year. The memoir will be a sequel to his The Kid Stays in the Picture (published by Hyperion in 1994).
Evans produced The Saint (1997), The Phantom (1996), Popeye (1980), and the Academy Award-nominated Chinatown (1974), and acted in Man of a Thousand Faces (1957). He also had a hand in the development of Rosemary’s Baby (1968).
