UK author Graham Edwards writes “Fans of Dragoncharm and my other dragon books might be interested to know I’ve set up a brand new blog at dragoncharm.blogspot.com. It’s the online diary of a dragon called Monajjfyllena, and all I’ll say at this stage is that it’s something of an experiment. I’ve no clear idea who Monajjfyllena is (well, perhaps an inkling…) or where her journey will lead (well, maybe just a clue…). But she is on a journey, have no doubt about that and, if folk want to join her, all they have to do is read her diary regularly. It may surprise them.”
Daily entries will record Monajjfyllena’s experiences as she journeys through the strange environment in which she has awoken. Only time will tell if she will reach her destination. “Okay, so it’s an experiment in online fiction,” says Edwards. “And a way of scaring the hell out of myself because, right now, I have only the vaguest idea who Monajjfyllena is and what kind of trials she’s likely to face. The beauty of the blog format is I get to wake up each morning and find out, like Monajjfyllena, what’s next around the corner. I’ve also got no idea if anybody’s going to care enough about this dragon to follow her progress, or if I can keep it up without the whole thing collapsing under its own weight. What I will say is that if you’re a fan of Dragoncharm, stick with it. There may be some surprises in store; I’m certainly expecting it to surprise me.”
