Book View Cafe signs partnership agreements to distribute on phone and paper

Following last month’s launch of Book View Cafe (see this article), Project Manager Sarah Zettel is announcing two new partnerships for the web site.
BVC has teamed up with PortableReading to make stories by its team of veteran authors available over the iPhone and iPod touch via their TextonPhone application.
And for those more interested in reading on paper, they’ve signed a deal with AnthologyBuilder to make their stories available for AB’s “build a custom anthology” model.
“These are extremely exciting partnerships,” Zettel said. “The Book View Cafe authors are committed to bringing first-rate stories to readers when they want it and how they want it. TextonPhone and AnthologyBuilder are leaders in their fields. Our partnership will allow our audience to fully customize their access to the best fiction available today.”
BVC is a cooperative project by 20 authors to offer stories and chapters, both original and reprint, on the web for free. The newest offerings on BVC include chapter 4 of Slave Trade by Susan Wright and “Mad for the Mints” by Amy Sterling.
