Aussiecon 4, the 2010 World Science Fiction Convention, will hold membership rates at the current levels until further notice. The rates had been scheduled to increase on 3 November, but the committee has decided, “in light of the current volatile global financial markets,” to hold the line. They’ll “give at least one month’s notice before the next rate rise.” Such notice will appear on the con’s news page.
Current membership rates (for those who did not vote in site selection) are US$155/A$160/C$155/€100/£80 for attending memberships; US$50/A$52/C$50/€35/£25 for supporting memberships.
Aussiecon 4 will be held 2-6 September 2010 in Melbourne, Australia. Guests of Honor will be Kim Stanley Robinson, Robin Johnson, and Shaun Tan.
