Win the Extraordinary Engines time machine

Solaris Books is giving away the “time machine” (pictured at right, designed by Alex CF) which appears on the cover of their new anthology Extraordinary Engines. The steampunk anthology, edited by Nick Gevers, is also the runner-up prize for five other entrants.
Solaris’s Mark Newton writes “We have an urgent missive from distinguished publisher Solaris Books, concerning a spiffing competition to win a Time Machine as featured on the cover of Extraordinary Engines, the Steampunk collection edited by that most esteemed explorer of the aether, Sir Nick Gevers.” He goes on to say “Note: we have used the machine to see who the winner is, and they were most deserving.” The official contest form, however, puts paid to that last, claiming “this is not a real working time machine! It is fragile, contains small parts, and is for ornamental use only.” Either way, the contest deadline is 1 November 2008.
To enter, read Kage Baker’s “Speed, Speed, the Cable”, which appears in the anthology (it’s available as a free 24-page pdf file at this link, and then answer a few questions related to the story. The official entry form is on this page.
