Kate Zuparko of Atom TV writes to tell us that they’ll be airing a special Star Wars Fan Movie Challenge episode at 2AM on Tuesday 7 October (the Monday-Tuesday overnight) on Comedy Central. “Fans of Star Wars will get the chance to see all their favorite fan films on the airwaves, including George Lucas himself introducing the 2008 Selects winner, the Juno spoof ‘Padme’,” which you can see anytime at this link. The episode will be rebroadcast at 12:30PM on Wednesday 8 October, 2AM on Thursday 9 October, and 10AM on Sunday 12 October.
The shorts featured in this episode include:
“Paraphrase Theatre: Tarkin ‘n’ Friends” by Will Carlough (winner in the Best Comedy category)
“Chad Vader: Day Shift Manager” by Aaron Yonda and Matt Sloan in which Darth’s brother managers a grocery store (last year’s George Lucas Selects winner)
“Padme” by Robert Reeves (George Lucas Selects winner)
“SW Grindhouse” by Michael Ramova (Best Parody winner)
“Incident at Toshi Station” by Tyler Soper (Best Short Subject winner)
