Sherrilyn Kenyon sells six more to St. Martin’s

Publishers Weekly is reporting that Sherrilyn Kenyon signed a “major six-book deal” with St. Martin’s publisher Matthew Shear and senior editor Monique Patterson, via her agent Merrilee Heifetz of Writers House. Under the new deal, Kenyon will write three new Dark-Hunter novels, which will appear first in hardcover and then in mass market paperback format. She’ll also write three mass market original Dream-Hunter novels. Patterson said that, following up August’s bestselling Acheron, these new titles will continue to “usher readers into a stunning new arc in her epic series.”
These six new books merely add to the 11 already under contract which haven’t yet been published (including a new YA series called Nevermore, and manga versions of two Dark-Hunter novels), and the 17 St. Martin’s has already published (which started with Fantasy Lover in 2002). Bad Moon Rising, the next Dark-Hunter novel, is scheduled to be published next August, and Dream Warrior (the next Dream-Hunter novel) is on the schedule for February.
