Holidays and Conventions

I neglected to mention it last week, but SFScope took the day off for Rosh Hashanah. This week, I’ve remembered to mention that there will be no new posts on Thursday (Yom Kippur).
In addition, we’ll be quiet on Friday, as I’ll be heading to, and then at, Albacon in Albany, New York. It’s several months since my last science fiction convention, so this one comes at an opportune time. In past year’s, Albacon has been a small- to mid-sized convention (I think they have about 400 people pre-registered this year), and I expect it will be the usual well-run, good time it always has been. If you’re going to be at Albacon, seek me out and say hi. I’ve posted my schedule on my personal blog.
Thanks for understanding, and thank you, too, for your continued reading and support. It is recognized and appreciated.
For those who are observing: have an easy fast. For those who are attending: have a great time. And for everyone else, have a great weekend. We’ll be back, as usual, on Monday.
