Electric Velocipede editor John Klima writes:
Next week I travel to Canada for the World Fantasy Convention. While there, I will sweat out the awards banquet to see if I win either an award for my work on Electric Velocipede or for my anthology Logorrhea. In the meantime, my magazine will be debuting with a double issue at the convention: #15/16. The issue is 164 pages long and has almost 100,000 words of content.
However, despite being a two-time nominee for the World Fantasy Award, there are still a lot of people who haven’t read the magazine. To that end, I’ve posted three stories from the issue online, and plan on putting more online over the next week or two. The stories that are online now are: “The Oldest Man on Earth” by Patrick O’Leary; “Sitting Round the Stewpot” by Patricia Russo; and “Notes on the Dissection of the Imaginary Beetle” by Jonathan Wood.
In my opinion, these stories typify the issue. The links to the fiction are available from the magazine’s main website. If you can find some time in your schedule to take a look at the stories, I would greatly appreciate it. I hope they pique your fancy like they did for me.
We had more details on the double issue in this article.
