The four-page newsletter has an essay by Dave Duncan, and publication and appearance news from the members, who include Mary Choo, Janine Cross, Linda DeMeulemeester, Dave Duncan, Matthew Hughes, Eileen Kernaghan, Clélie Rich, Rhea Rose, and the memory of the late Michael Coney.
On Spec: the Canadian Magazine of the Fantastic, is published quarterly. The 112-page, perfect bound, digest-sized issue contains fiction, poetry, and nonfiction. Single copies are $6.95. This issue announces Ellison’s recent coronary stent emplacement, a consignment of 1960s rock ‘n’ roll posters for auction, the Ellisons’ attendance at the wedding of Brad Altman and George Takei, and a list of upcoming Dreams with Sharp Teeth screenings.
Star*Line, the Journal of the Science Fiction Poetry Association, is published six times a year. The 28-page issue contains poems, reviews, organizational announcements, and other items of interest to poets.
