Neal Stephenson reads Anathem

Beth Newbauer of Fora.tv writes to say that “New York Times best-selling author Neal Stephenson reads from his new epic Anathem, a space opera set in far-future Earth-like world. This is his most recent novel that has just been released.” The 19-minute video is obviously not the entire book. Stephenson reads from the beginning, as he says “because if I tried to read something from later, it’s full of spoilers and vocabulary that you don’t know yet.” The reading was recorded at the Long Now Foundation on 9 September 2008. The video is available on this page.
