WorldCon Day Four: Hugos Tonight, Experiences Here

It’s the fourth day of Denvention 3, the 66th World Science Fiction Convention. The convention has multiple tracks of programming running nearly continuously through Sunday, and tonight’s big event is the Hugo Awards Ceremony. Guests of Honor include Lois McMaster Bujold, Rick Sternbach, Tom Whitmore, Wil McCarthy, and Kathy Mar.
Those of us who aren’t attending are hoping to live vicariously through those of you who are. So if you’re at the con, please comment to let us know what’s going—did you attend the Masquerade last night? (or participate in it?) Were the costumes wonderful? Were there any themes, or anything you would have done differently? How was the rest of the day?—share your WorldCon experience with the rest of us. And if you’re not in Denver, but you’ve got memories of past WorldCons, or thoughts of the present you’d like to share, feel free. Comments are open (see below, and remember, commenting still qualifies you to win the Masters of Science Fiction DVD, whether you’re at the con or at home). We’ll also take links to your WorldCon comments on your own blog.
(We’ll start another one of these pages each day.)
Announcements: John Joseph Adams says he’ll be Twittering throughout the con, and especially plans to do so during the Hugo Awards at http://twitter.com/johnjosephadams.

Wonderful time. Just getting ready to go to the Hugos.
Although it sounds cliche, it is a wonderful experience to be nominated and means a lot to me (and to all the other nominees). I’m particularly proud of my nomination for the fanzine Argentus.
