“Return to Luna” writing contest winners

Eric T. Reynolds, who coordinated the contest for Hadley Rille Books and the National Space Society (NSS), has announced the winners of the “Return to Luna” writing contest (which we detailed in this article). Judges for the contest, the goal of which was to show the adventure of lunar settlement, included Michael A. Burstein, Tom Dupree, Jude-Marie Green, Jay Lake, Geoffrey A. Landis, Christopher McKitterick, Eric T. Reynolds, Lawrence M. Schoen, Allen Steele, and SFScope editor Ian Randal Strock.
The winners will appear in the forthcoming Hadley Rille anthology, and their authors will receive one-year memberships in the NSS.
The grand prize winner is “Visual Silence” by M.C. Chambers.
