Part of Asimov’s September issue available for free

Dell Magazines’ Web Administrator Willie Garcia writes to say “the September issue of Asimov’s Science Fiction is now online at www.asimovs.com.” What he means is that the cover and table of contents (which we detailed in this article) are posted, as are a few samples from the magazine. On the web site, you can read two of the novelettes—”Midnight Blue” by Will McIntosh and “The Ice War” by Stephen Baxter—and all the regular columns (Sheila Williams’s Editorial “2008 Readers’ Award”, Robert Silverberg’s Reflections “Another Thirtieth Anniversary”, Paul Di Filippo’s On Books, and Erwin S. Strauss’s SF Conventional Calendar).
[Correction appended: As our anonymous commenter notes, those novelettes are not, in fact, available on the site, but are only partial teasers of the stories. SFScope regrets our error in saying otherwise.]

2 novelettes online: What is online is the first half of the 2 novelettes. Both story pages end in “…” followed by “Be sure to read the exciting conclusion in our September issue, on sale now.”
