Suzanne McLeod sells German rights to two urban fantasies for “significant advance”

Agent John Jarrold reports that new author Suzanne McLeod sold German rights to her two urban fantasies to Nicole Geismann of Goldmann for “a significant advance after a hard-fought auction.” The deal was handled by Krystyna Kujawinska, Foreign Rights Director at Orion.
The series, which will debut in the UK in September with The Sweet Scent of Blood, was acquired by Jo Fletcher at Gollancz from Jarrold last year.
“This is a truly magnificent deal for a debut novelist,” said Jarrold. “I couldn’t be happier for Suzanne, or for Gollancz and Goldmann. Any many congratulations to Krystyna.”
